Luke Gale: Underwent ankle surgery last month
Bradford scrum-half Luke Gale is set to return to action in Saturday's Super League game against his old club London Broncos.
However, the 24-year-old, who has returned to full training after undergoing ankle surgery last autumn, may have to settle for a place on the bench at Adams Park in Wycombe.
Jarrod Sammut has combined well with makeshift stand-off Danny Addy during Bradford's impressive start to the season and coach Francis Cummins is likely to stick with the duo despite Gale's impressive form last term.
"He's in full training now but I'm not just going to pick Galey because I want him to play," said Cummins. "It's got to fit in with the team.
"He's got to work his way back in. He was really good last year, especially at the back end, and when he takes on the line he makes a great decision, which is probably what we can do with.
"On the whole, Danny and Jarrod have done very well and now hopefully we've got three in there so something's got to give.
"We're now getting people back and there are going to be some disappointments.
"It's important people don't sulk and instead do their best for the team. Whether they are involved in the game or not, they can still contribute and make a difference. It's about doing what is best for the team."
