Castleford welcome back Australian winger Justin Carney from a two-match ban for Friday's Super League derby against Wakefield Wildcats.

Carney and team-mate Weller Hauraki (one-match ban) were both suspended after a mass brawl in the 52-0 thrashing at Hull earlier in the month.

Front-row forwards Jonathan Walker and Jake Emmitt are also in contention for a recall, but hooker Adam Milner drops out of the team that lost at Hull KR.

Cas head into the game on a four-game losing streak, and without a win in six, but have been boosted by the news that utility back Jordan Tansey has signed a two-year contract extension.

Tigers coach Ian Millward said: "I'm picking my strongest team based on form, training and what we believe will be the best for Friday's game against Wakefield. I want all of our squad to play over Easter so everyone will play - some people will play two games while others will play one."

Full strength

Wakefield are at full strength for the trip across Yorkshire and are rested up following the postponement of last week's game against Leeds.

Scrum-half Tim Smith fit again, along with forwards Justin Poore, Ali Lauitiiti, Danny Kirmond and Andy Raleigh.

Kyle Trout, Frankie Mariano and Matty Wildie are the men to make way as the Wildcats look to win on Castleford's home patch for a third successive year.

"The postponement of the Leeds game has given us a chance for some of the guys that have been missing a chance to get a full weeks training under their belt and should leave us going into the Castleford game a bit fresher," stated Wildcats coach Richard Agar.

Castleford's 19-man squad: 1 Richard Owen, 2 Justin Carney, 3 Michael Shenton, 4 Jake Webster, 5 Kirk Dixon, 6 Rangi Chase, 7 Jamie Ellis, 8 Jonathan Walker, 9 Daryl Clark, 10 Craig Huby, 11 Lee Gilmour, 12 Weller Hauraki, 13 Grant Millington, 14 Jake Emmitt, 16 Nathan Massey, 17 Oliver Holmes, 18 Jordan Thompson, 19 Jordan Tansey, 25 Keith Mason

Wakefield's 19-man squad: 1 Richard Mathers, 2 Peter Fox, 3 Dean Collis, 4 Lee Smith, 5 Ben Cockayne, 6 Paul Sykes, 7 Tim Smith, 8 Justin Poore, 9 Paul Aiton, 10 Andy Raleigh, 11 Ali Lauitiiti, 12 Danny Kirmond, 13 Danny Washbrook, 14 Kyle Wood, 15 Kyle Amor, 16 Oliver Wilkes, 19 Vince Mellars, 20 Reece Lyne, 27 Chris Annakin
