Ben Harrison: Set for return following recovery from hernia operation

Warrington should welcome back forwards Trent Waterhouse and Ben Harrison for their crunch Super League clash with Huddersfield at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday.

Australian Waterhouse has missed the last three games with a lower-back strain, while Harrison has not featured since round one after undergoing a hernia operation.

But both have been included in coach Tony Smith's 19-man squad for the visit of the Giants, who are currently three points above the Wolves at the top of the league table.

Tyrone McCarthy and James Laithwaite, neither of whom made the match-day selection in the victory over Salford last time out, drop out of the squad.

"Huddersfield have been the most consistent in their performances so far this year," Smith said.

"They've started the season well, as they have done for the last few years now, and we expect a really tough challenge again on Friday."

Huddersfield have named an unchanged 19-man squad as they look to put a five-point cushion between themselves and the Wolves.

Giants winger Jermaine McGillvary told the club's official website: "Warrington are one of the best teams in the League.

"That's a title we want to take from them and if we dig deep and get another victory then I think it'll send another clear message to everyone that Huddersfield Giants mean business."

Warrington squad: Atkins, Bridge, Carvell, Cooper, Currie, Grix, Harrison, Higham, Hill, Hodgson, J Monaghan, Myler, O'Brien, Ratchford, Riley, Waterhouse, Westwood, Wood, M Monaghan

Huddersfield squad: Grix, Cudjoe, Wardle, McGillvary, Brough, Robinson, Crabtree, Lunt, Kopczak, Ferres, Faiumu, Patrick, Ta'ai, Murphy, Cording, Fairbank, Ferguson, Dawson, Fielden.
