Bradford Bulls prop Ben Evans is hopeful of making his first appearance for the club as he continues his recuperation from hip surgery.

The 20-year-old Wales forward is currently on a season-long loan from Warrington Wolves and is yet to make his Super League bow for the Bulls.

However, after undergoing the knife in January, the player is hopeful of handing coach Francis Cummins a major boost by returning for the busy Easter schedule.

"I start running this week and it's just basically how I'm feeling from there," Evans told the Telegraph and Argus.

"It will be a test for me but if I feel good then I can push on.

"I've not put a date on it because I don't want to get my hopes up but hopefully I'll be playing in the next three or four weeks.

"Easter is a rough timescale but if the running goes well then it could be sooner."
