Richie Barker: Has belief in Crawley

Richie Barker described Crawley as one of the most entertaining teams in League One following their 1-1 home draw against struggling Carlisle.

A second-half strike from defender Mat Sadler cancelled out a tremendous free-kick by Jon-Paul McGovern, but Barker felt his men were desperately unlucky not take maximum points.

Barker, who believes performances over the last six weeks have been his side's best over the course of the season, said: "We are as good a footballing side as any in the division. Certainly, we must be one of the most entertaining to watch.

"So far we've had 16 different goalscorers so we've got a threat all over the pitch. We play open, expansive football.

"We've been punching well above our weight all season and I still think that is the case.

"To still be talking about the play-offs with 12 games to go speaks volumes to how we've done."

Barker insisted Crawley have not given up on their play-off challenge and added: "The point keeps us ticking over.

"It's not the end of the world. While it's still a mathematical possibility, we'll give it a go.

"We can beat anybody if we play like that."
