Kobe Bryant scored the winning lay-up with nine seconds left as the Los Angeles Lakers edged out the Atlanta Hawks 99-98.

Chandler Parsons scored 32 points to guide the Houston Rockets to a 136-103 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

David West chipped in 31 points as the Indiana Pacers beat the Chicago Bulls 97-92 and the San Antonio Spurs were 114-75 winners over the Detroit Pistons.

The Memphis Grizzlies eased to a 108-82 win over the Orlando Magic, the Washington Wizards were 90-87 winners over the Philadelphia 76ers and the Sacramento Kings dispatched the Charlotte Bobcats 119-83.
