Chris Powell would rather Charlton's remaining fixtures were away from The Valley, where they "can't work it out".
The Addicks dropped more points at The Valley when they went down 2-0 to Nottingham Forest.
No team in the Championship have a worse home record than Powell's side, and yet their away form is among the best in the division.
And Powell admitted: "We have got 12 games to go and I want all 12 away, but that's not fair on my supporters. We have got six at home and we've got to turn it around. It's almost as if we can't work it out.
"It's a shame because everyone knows, if we had something that just resembled anything near our away form we would be a number of points better off.
"We are trying what we can to turn it around. We can't say the pitch is an issue because other teams have to play on it and they seem to create and do what they would like to do.
"But now it's something we have to do our best to rectify in our six remaining games."
