Tohu Harris: Set to start for Melbourne Storm against Leeds Rhinos
Tohu Harris will make his debut for Melbourne Storm in Friday's World Club Challenge against Leeds at Headingley Carnegie.
The Junior Kiwi, who signed for the Storm from Wellington three years ago, comes in to replace injured second rower Kevin Proctor.
Harris is a graduate of the club's U20 programme and will make his bow after signing a contract extension midway through the 2012 season.
But there was no place in coach Craig Bellamy's squad for former New Zealand Test centre Junior Sau, one of three close-season signings made by the club.
Teenage half-back Ben Hampton was also omitted by Bellamy when he trimmed his matchday squad to 19 players.
Eleven members of the side that beat Canterbury Bulldogs 14-4 in September's Grand Final, including England international Gareth Widdop and former Wigan forward Ryan Hoffman, will feature though, with Hoffman set to play in his fourth World Club Challenge.
Another ex-Wigan player, stand-off Brett Finch, looks likely to start on the bench as he begins his second spell with the club.
Finch, Hoffman, Jesse Bromwich, Ryan Hinchcliffe, Billy Slater and skipper Cameron Smith survive from the Melbourne team that beat Leeds 18-10 at Elland Road three years ago, while the Rhinos have selected 10 players who featured in that game.
Melbourne Storm: B Slater; S Waqa, J O'Neill, W Chambers, M Fonua; G Widdop, C Cronk; J Bromwich, C Smith (capt), N Norrie, R Hoffman, T Harris, R Hinchcliffe.
Replacements (from): B Finch, J Ryles, S Vave, L Setu, K Bromwich, J Moors.
