Bradford top-scorer Nahki Wells is targeting three points against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday before he focuses on the Capital One Cup final.

The League Two side made history last month when they beat Aston Villa to set up the mouth-watering clash with Swansea on Sunday 24th February.

But first is a crucial trip to bottom side Wimbledon in the league this weekend and Wells is aiming for a win to boost the tenth-placed Bantams' play-off hopes.

These were reinvigorated with a 3-0 win at in-form Wycombe in midweek - the first success in seven league attempts for Phil Parkinson's side.

Wells told Sky Sports News: "It's another League Two game to look forward to, an important game in our season.

"If we go out there and do well and pick up another away win we can go into Wembley that much more comfortable with less stress on ourselves."

Regarding the Wembley showdown with the Swans, Bermuda international Wells added: "We know that it's a game that we need to go out there and enjoy, so getting three points at Wimbledon on Saturday would be just that much better.

"Everyone's ready for the occasion, I've got quite lot of family and friends flying over so it's just a moment to enjoy, not only for myself but Bradford as a city."
