There might now be just one more 2013 car waiting to see the light of day ahead of the new season, but there's another 'launch' we also know you've been eagerly anticipating over the winter - the year's first edition of The F1 Show.

Well, the wait is finally over this Friday evening from 6.30pm as the magazine show that has quickly established itself as the ultimate weekly accompaniment to the live action during Sky Sports F1's debut season makes its return for a new run.

The first programme couldn't be better timed either, with the hour-long show to be broadcast just a week after an intriguing first test of the winter at Jerez and days before the start of the second test in Barcelona, where the pre-season programme is poised to really ramp up.

With so much to talk about, it's only natural that we've assembled quite some line-up for the 2013 launch edition: joining presenters Natalie Pinkham and Ted Kravitz on the sofa will be the Voice of F1 himself, Martin Brundle, and his ex-racing rival turned Sky Sports F1 colleague Johnny Herbert.

Martin and Johnny aren't the only special guests on Friday's show, however, as Britain's newest F1 star - and the youngest driver on the 2013 grid - Max Chilton takes time out from his preparations for Barcelona.

Max, of course, was in action for Marussia last week and during the course of Friday's show he and the team will analyse how all 11 teams fared during the course of the opening four days, with the help of two features from Ted.

Triple World Champions Red Bull made a positive start with their new RB9 in Spain and Natalie took a trip to their Milton Keynes home this week for an exclusive interview with Christian Horner as his team bid to continue their extraordinary winning run.

In addition to assessing where the challenge to the World Champions might come from in 2013, Martin, Johnny and the team will also be looking ahead to the first four days in Barcelona and weighing up Lewis Hamilton's Championship chances with his new Mercedes team.

Throw in the usual round-up of all the latest F1 news and it's a one-hour show that's not to be missed!

Make sure you don't miss the first F1 Show of 2013 from 6.30pm on Sky Sports F1 on Friday, with the show also simulcast on Sky Sports 1. If you do miss out first time around then fear not as the show will be repeated later the same evening on both channels and several more times on Sky Sports F1 throughout the weekend.
