Willie Mullins: Dominates the Dr PJ Moriarty entries

Trainer Willie Mullins dominates the entries as he aims to win Saturday's Dr PJ Moriarty Novice Chase at Leopardstown, a race he's won four times in the past six years.

The champion trainer has saddled J'y Vole, Cooldine and the ill-fated Citizen Vic to win this two-mile-five-furlong contest in recent seasons and this year has three possible runners.

The Andrea and Graham Wylie-owned Back In Focus is unbeaten in three starts over fences and is already a Grade One winner, having landed the Topaz Novice Chase at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting.

The Wylies also have engaged the highly-regarded Boston Bob, who was last season's leading Irish staying novice hurdler and scraped home on his chasing debut at Navan in December.

Mullins could also run Mikael D'Haguenet, who has a patchy record over fences but is a class act on his day.

Noel Meade's Texas Jack narrowly denied the Jim Culloty-trained Lord Windermere in a Grade Two at Leopardstown late last month and both are engaged on Saturday.

However, the latter appears an unlikely runner at this stage.

Culloty said: "It's highly unlikely he'll run. I just entered him in case the race cuts up. He's fine and cantering away. There is a chance he'll go straight to Cheltenham for his next run.

"I've not had chance to look at things properly, but I would say the RSA Chase is where he'll most likely run."

Completing the eight entries are Klepht, Lyreen Legend and Star Neuville.
