Michael Laudrup wanted to look forward after Swansea City suffered their first Premier League defeat of 2013.

The Capital One Cup finalists lost to an Andy Carroll header in a 1-0 setback at West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.

But boss Laudrup, who is preparing for Swansea's trip to Wembley where they will face Bradford City on 24th February, does not want to dwell on the defeat.

And the Dane hopes his squad can now benefit from a reduction in the fixture congestion and midweek games which their cup run has brought, as he told Sky Sports: "I do not like to lose.

"Fortunately, we are not used to losing in the last six weeks in the league.

"We are a little disappointed. But that is good. It means we always want to get the points and get forward.

"We still have 13 games. We just have to prepare now. It is completely different from now on and we only have games at weekends.

"So, we can prepare much better."
