Seattle Seahawks maintained their impressive form with a 50-17 rout of the Buffalo Bills in their annual game in Toronto on Sunday.
In winning for the fifth time in six games, the Seahawks (9-5) inched closer to clinching a play-off berth and are still not out of the running to win the NFC West. They return home to host division-leading San Francisco in what is a key showdown.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson ran for three touchdowns and threw for another, all in the first half, as Seattle notched up 50 points for the second straight week.
Seattle's opportunistic defence then took over by forcing three consecutive turnovers to start the second half, including safety Earl Thomas scoring on 57-yard interception return.
Wilson scored the opening touchdowns of the game, rushing from 14 and 25 yards respectively to put the visitors 14 points to the good.
CJ Spiller's 14-yard run in the first quarter got the Bills on the scoreboard, but Seattle hit back with a Steven Hauschka field goal before further touchdowns from Zach Miller and Wilson's 13-yard run.
Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick found Stevie Johnson before Rian Lindell's 41-yard field goal gave the home side hope at 31-17 down at half time.
Seattle dominated the remainder of the contest with two more touchdowns in the third quarter. Marshawn Lynch scored on a 13-yard run, Hauschka then slotted over a 33-yard field goal before Thomas' interception return.
Hauschka converted a 23-yard field goal in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.
The Bills (5-9) dropped to 1-4 in regular-season games at Toronto since the series began in 2008, with their lone win coming last year when they beat Washington 23-0.
