West Indies signed off their tour of Bangladesh with an 18-run victory in the one-off Twenty20 international in Dhaka.

Marlon Samuels hit nine sixes in his 85 not out from 43 balls to guide the tourists - world champions in the format - to a total of 197-4 after they had opted to bat.

Samuels and Darren Bravo (41) shared a 66-run stand for the third wicket after Bangladesh seamer Rubel Hossain bowled both openers - Chris Gayle (24) and Dwayne Smith (6) - in his opening spell.

Hossain's two wickets made him the most successful member of the home attack, although his allocation went for 63 runs - including 29 off the final over of the innings, featuring four Samuels maximums.

Bangladesh only lost one wicket during their run chase but finished up short on 179-1.

Opener Tamim Iqbal batted through for 88 not out from 61 balls, while Mahmudullah contributed 64 from 48 deliveries to an unbroken second-wicket partnership of 132.

Amanul Haque, making his T20I debut, was the only wicket to fall, caught by Darren Sammy for 22 off paceman Kemar Roach's bowling in the fifth over.

West Indies won the Test series 2-0 but went down 3-2 in the ODIs.
