England scrum-half Danny Care believes the team will be fired up against South Africa after losing to Australia on Saturday.

Stuart Lancaster's men kicked off their Autumn Series games with a 54-12 win over Fiji, however, they lost to the Wallabies 20-14 at Twickenham over the weekend.

Next up for England are the Springboks, who claimed a 2-0 series win over England during the summer as the third Test finished as a draw.

"I think the great thing about these internationals is there is such a massive opportunity to play against the best team again next week," Care told Sky Sports.

"Playing against South Africa at Twickenham again is a hugely exciting task for us.

"We'll work on a few things Monday and Tuesday I'm sure, review the game, but look forward to what's going to be a massive test and I'm sure you can expect a bit of a backlash from the boys come Saturday."

Care knows things do not get harder than playing against South Africa with a game verses world champions New Zealand the week after, but he is backing the team's stars of the future to benefit from the experience as they build toward the 2015 World Cup on home soil.

"We know the next two games are going two of the toughest games players will have played in their career. Back to back South Africa and New Zealand doesn't get bigger," he added.

"There are a few lads earning their third fourth and fifth caps. It's great experience for the squad. We're growing as a squad. We're not going to be the best team in the world tomorrow, but we want to be that in three years' time. This will be another step in the right direction hopefully."
