Radoslaw Majewski: Injured at the weekend

Nottingham Forest midfielder Radoslaw Majewski is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring his ankle last weekend.

The Polish international suffered the injury during the home loss to Millwall on Saturday and scans have shown that he has sustained extensive ligament damage.

However, it has not yet been decided whether the 25-year-old will need to have an operation.

Forest boss Sean O'Driscoll said: "The medical people are going to see how it settles down and decide whether he needs surgery or not.

"Nobody wants an operation and, if we can get a good prognosis that he will be OK, then he won't have one, but we're hedging our bets. We don't want to get two months down the line and find that he needs an operation.

"That's something the consultant, surgeon and physios will look at and make a decision on, but it is going be months now rather than weeks."
