Kevin Doyle expressed relief at breaking his goalscoring duck in Wolves' 2-2 draw with Bolton.

Doyle has only netted once this season but found his form to bag a brace at Molineux on Tuesday night.

And the Republic of Ireland striker, while disappointed not to have picked up a victory in midweek, is hopeful there is more to come.

"I don't think I had been blatantly missing chances," said Doyle.

"They had either been saved, hit the woodwork or been cleared off the line. I have enjoyed my football this season but it's nice to have capped it off with some goals.

"Sako laid the ball just where I wanted it for the equaliser. It was a very good ball.

"We didn't have a whole lot of chances, so it was good to score from the ones we did create. Bjorn Sigurdarson was maybe unlucky with his effort in the second half because it just went wide.

"It would have been better if the goals had brought a victory and we were disappointed to concede. But it was a very good finish (by Mark Davies) and it happens in football."
