Blackpool boss Ian Holloway praised his substitutes after their 2-2 draw at home to Nottingham Forest.

One of them, Elliot Grandin - who joined the action on the hour mark - equalised for the Seasiders 11 minutes later while Gary Taylor-Fletcher made it 2-1 to the hosts on 75.

However, Dexter Blackstock fired a late leveller for Forest but boss Holloway remained upbeat after the match at Bloomfield Road.

He said: "Our substitutes were superb, I felt. The game was a bit stale and they came on and made an instant impact which was exactly what we needed.

"We got our second goal too quick and then we had made all our changes and couldn't see it out.

"We have to work through our team because we don't have a big man up top to go direct. We have to pass our way through."
