Millwall boss Kenny Jackett admitted the amount of goals his side are conceding is a real concern after the 3-3 draw against Birmingham.

The Lions allowed a 3-0 advantage inside the first 18 minutes to disappear at the Den and were left hanging on grimly towards the end to repel a Marlon King-led Blues attack.

Chris Wood scored twice and Chris Taylor once in an electric opening and Jackett said of his Championship strugglers: "It was very frustrating from a winning position.

"The goals against column for us so far this season is embarrassing. It is why we are where we are.

"You can't give three goals away and expect to get anything on too many occasions, which was a great shame because it covered up some of the best attacking football we have played this season.

"People don't need too many shots to score, I understand it's a clinical division but there are a high number of goals being scored from a low number of shots and we need to reduce that.

"Even so, 3-1 at half-time, you need to take stock of that and go again. We gave King too much time in the box on too many occasions and he punished us.

"We had a very good first-half performance, pressuring them and putting some good balls in, and we finished the game in the right way."
