Sam Wood has declared himself fit to make a first-team return for Wycombe following a lengthy knee injury.
The midfielder has been sidelined for over eight weeks since sustaining the injury in only his third game for the Chairboys after completing a summer switch to Adams Park.
The former Brentford man is eager to make a return to the starting XI, and to play under caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth.
Wood told the club's official website: "I'm available for selection now, whether Gaz picks me, that's up to him to decide. I'm ready to play. I just have to train hard and see what happens.
"It's just good to be out getting my boots on again. I just want to get back into the first team."
Wood added: "When he's (Ainsworth) off the pitch, he's just been the same, just a nice guy all round. He compares me to himself, working hard, desire, which is good to hear."
