Dunne issues Watt challenge

Sanchez Watt has been challenged by Colchester boss Joe Dunne to repeat his heroics from the weekend on a more regular basis.

The Arsenal loanee produced a matchwinning moment to end Stevenage's unbeaten record in League One, bursting from the halfway line before firing a sweet left-footed strike across goal and into the far bottom corner. And Dunne wants to see the talented Gunners forward produce more like that. He said: "Sanchez scored and that's why he's at the club that he's at - his challenge is to do it more often. "What he did was a fantastic piece of skill and with a game so tight, it was going to be an individual skill that opened things up and we're pleased it was us." Dunne added: "It was a narrow win in terms of the scoreline but we should enjoy it, because we played a top side. We really worked hard for it and that's what you get when you work hard. "We stuck to our game plan in terms of playing and passing in the first half. When they went down to 10 men, we had given so much energy to the rest of the game that we started to force the ball a bit. We need to find the right balance with that but overall, full credit to the players."
