Scott Styris: Delighted to be back at Sussex

Sussex have once again secured the services of Scott Styris as an overseas player for next season's Friends Life t20 competition.

The 37-year-old former New Zealand International enjoyed an impressive spell at the PROBIZ last season as the Sharks reached Finals Day at Cardiff, scoring 204 runs in eight matches whilst also taking seven wickets.

Styris said: "I'm delighted to sign this contract with Sussex for the 2013 t20 competition.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the team this year and feel we have unfinished business in this competition. I want to contribute next season so we can go all the way to securing the silverware."

A Sussex spokesman added: "We are all delighted at the prospect of having Scott back. His performances on and off the pitch obviously made him not only a crowd favourite but one within the whole club."
