Leeds Rhinos U20 Player of the Year Aaron Brown has opted to try his luck in the Championship after joining Dewsbury Rams.

The stand-off or loose forward has signed a one-year deal with Glen Morrison's side on the back of a stand-out season for the Rhinos in the Valvoline Cup.

And the 20-year-old is hoping that another good campaign with Dewsbury can secure him a rapid return to Super League.

"I know that Glenn has big ambitions for the club, so I'm delighted to have signed here," said Brown.

"My aim for 2013 is to pick up from where I left off last season and help the Rams challenge at the top of the competition. I know the Championship is a tough league, with some great players, but I'm really looking forward to the challenge.

"Like any young player, it's my dream to play in the Super League and I'm eager to take the opportunity to show everyone what I can do at the Rams next year."
