Paul Jewell was visibly disappointed after his Ipswich team had lost 2-1 to Cardiff City at Portman Road.
DJ Campbell had given the hosts a 43rd minute lead - although the ball did bounce off his hands - before Heidar Helguson netted twice in the second half for Cardiff.
The Icelandic striker grabbed an 88th minute winner and Jewell said: "We were a bit fortunate with our goal but I thought we played well in the first half.
"We were the better team and had great opportunities to make it 2-0.
"I know we can't keep losing matches but I honestly thought we were unfortunate again. The goals came out of the blue. They were devastating blows.
"There wasn't much Scott Loach could say afterwards. They were two goalkeeping errors.
"Everyone makes mistakes but every time we make one it seems to end up as a goal.
"They're not just little mistakes, they're big errors. We're not getting outplayed by anyone and the lads are giving everything they've got. They still believe.
"It's very disappointing because I'm a proud man."
