British light-middleweight champion Brian Rose kept busy with a third-round stoppage victory over a faded Vivian Harris in Blackpool on Friday night.
Rose, who was initially due to defend his title against Sam Webb at the Winter Gardens, smothered the former light-welterweight world champion from the opening bell.
The Guyanan, surely taking one final payday, was dropped by a right hand in the third round and the end was soon in coming - the referee stepping in soon after to bring the fight to a halt.
It was Harris's seventh defeat in his last 10 outings while Rose (21-1) is now unbeaten in seven.
