Sarah Taylor: England number three hit four boundaries in her innings of 34 off 30 balls
England's women missed out on a clean sweep of their five-match Twenty20 series against West Indies, Juliana Nero ensuring a win for the tourists at Arundel Castle in the final game.
Having won four in a row, England were this time undone on the final ball of the match, Nero taking the required single off Anya Shrubsole to claim a three-wicket victory.
England were asked to bat first and posted 139-7, Katherine Brunt top scoring with 35, one more than Sarah Taylor's effort from number three.
The wickets were well spread between West Indies' attack, Tremayne Smartt, Shemaine Campbell and Anisa Mohammed picking up two apiece.
Shrubsole accounted for both West Indies openers, bowling Stafanie Taylor and running out Smart.
But Deandro Dottin proved a more difficult prospect at number three and produced the innings of the match, smashing five sixes and three fours on her way to 62 in 34 balls.
Holly Colvin eventually ended Dottin's assault but the damage had been done.
Shrubsole stepped up for the last over with six needed for the West Indies win. She succeeded in taking it to the last ball, and also saw Kycia Knight run out with two deliveries left, but Nero (27no) held her nerve.
