Rangers are waiting on the news of David Templeton's ankle injury after he was stretched off on Saturday.
The Gers dropped points for a third successive away game as they were held at Annan Athletic.
To make matters worse, their big deadline day signing, Templeton, was stretched off.
"He has gone to hospital," manager Ally McCoist said.
"It doesn't look good. The ankle was completely swollen up after two or three minutes. He is going for an X-ray and a scan."
Templeton kept fans up-to-date via his Twitter account, saying: "Not sure how it is yet! Need to wait for the swelling to go down then get a scan on it to see the damage!"
