Bournemouth boss Paul Groves insists Harry Redknapp's return to Dean Court can only be positive for the club.
Former Cherries chief Redknapp has taken on an advisory role with the Cherries after being axed as Tottenham manager earlier in the summer.
Groves is a close friend of Redknapp's and he says there is no issue with Redknapp's involvement at the League One outfit.
"He is fantastic person, not only on a football side, but as a person as well and it can only be a positive for the football club," Groves told Sky Sports News Radio.
"His knowledge, his experience everything about him is nothing but a plus for us.
"I have kept in touch with Harry when he left Portsmouth to the present day and I have been in constant contact with him and he is somebody you respect and can take advice from.
"He's somebody I know very well, somebody you can trust implicitly and somebody who has an affinity with the football club so there is nothing but pluses from it from our point of view.
"He is available on the end of the phone and Harry can come when he sees fit and if he wants to come in he is more than welcome to there is no issue whatsoever."
