Frankel: Set to gallop at Newmarket
Frankel is set to be given a racecourse gallop at Newmarket on September 29 as he builds up to what is likely to be the final start of his career.
Trainer Sir Henry Cecil decided against giving the unbeaten superstar a run between last month's Juddmonte International Stakes and the Champion Stakes at Ascot on October 20.
Instead, he will stretch his legs before racing at the Rowley Mile on Cambridgeshire day.
"All going well, Frankel will have a racecourse gallop at Newmarket at the Rowley Mile racecourse an hour before racing on September 29," the trainer told www.sirhenrycecil.com.
"I am very happy with Frankel's work at this stage."
