Yuvraj Singh: no competitive cricket since November

A washout on Saturday has caused a delay in Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh's keenly-awaited return after battling cancer.

The first Twenty20 game of the two-match series against New Zealand - a build-up for this month's World Twenty20 - was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to heavy rain lashing the southern coastal town of Visakhapatnam.

Left-hander Yuvraj, who was recalled to the Twenty20 side despite not having played competitive cricket since November, must now wait for the second game which takes place in Chennai on Tuesday.
