Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain insists England will approach Friday's World Cup qualifier against Moldova as if their opponents are Brazil.
England begin their campaign to reach the 2014 World Cup in Brazil away at Moldova and are favourites to top the group.
But the Arsenal winger claims there will be no complacency from Roy Hodgson's side as they are expecting a tough game.
"We approach every game the same way no matter whether it's Moldova or Brazil," said Oxlade-Chamberlain.
"We know we've got to go out and look to win the game so we'll be doing that. We'll prepare for the game and we'll be looking to win.
"I know it's going to be tough whoever it is.
Qualities
"This is the international stage now and it's never going to be easy and whoever we come up against they'll have different qualities and attributes and we'll have to adapt to that.
"I'm just looking forward to it and if I do get the chance I'll make sure I'm ready."
The 19-year-old, who made his England debut on the eve of Euro 2012, is hoping for a positive start to qualification and that means targeting all three points.
"You want to get the qualifying wrapped up as soon as you can and we'll be ready to push every game and approaching it the same way," he added.
"We never step on to the pitch to draw or to lose."
