Bated Breath: Nunthorpe hopeful
A total of 30 horses have been left in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at the six-day declaration stage including Roger Charlton's Bated Breath.
The ante-post favourite for the York contest finished second in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot on his last start and looks likely to bid to go one place better on the Knavesmire.
He could be joined in the five-furlong Group One contest by Richard Fahey's July Cup winner Mayson.
Australian mare Ortensia bounced back to form at Glorious Goodwood and she could also take her chance in North Yorkshire.
Ceiling Kitty and Hoyam represent the juvenile division while Kevin Ryan could be triple-handed with Bogart, Tiddliwinks and Masamah.
Dual winner Borderlescott could line up again as could Kingsgate Native, the 2007 winnner who is now trained by Robert Cowell.
Cowell could also be represented by Spirit Quartz.
As expected, Hoof It and Starspangledbanner aren't among the latest entries.
