All-rounder Irfan Pathan has replaced injured seamer Vinay Kumar in India's squad for the limited-overs tour of Sri Lanka.

Kumar hurt his hamstring in training and will be sidelined for three weeks.

Irfan, who played the most recent of his 115 ODIs in May's Asia Cup, has been added to the 15-man squad.

India play five ODIs and a one-off Twenty20 against Sri Lanka, with the series opener taking place in Hambantota on July 21.
