Leicestershire will not offer new contracts to Jacques du Toit and Nadeem Malik at the end of the season.

Batsman Du Toit, 32, and seam bowler Malik, 29, have been made available for loan to other counties for the remaining two months of this summer.

Neither player has held down a regular place in the first-team this season and the Foxes have failed to make an impact in any of the three domestic competitions.

"Both Jacques and Nadeem have given the club excellent service over recent years," said chief executive Mike Siddall.

"We wish them well in their future endeavours."
