Pat Cummins: injured during Australia's 15-run defeat at Lord's on Friday
Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins will play no further part in the one-day series against England due to a side strain.
The teenage fast bowler suffered the injury in the opening match at Lord's on Friday although he was able to bowl his full allocation of 10 overs, taking 1-53 in a 15-run defeat.
Cummins has since undergone a scan and will not be risked for the rest of the tour, instead returning home on Monday.
Australian team doctor John Orchard said: "Pat sustained an abdominal muscle strain on his left side during the first ODI at Lord's.
"While he was able to complete his 10 overs, he was sore after the game and was scanned - the results of which have revealed a medium grade side-strain.
"This will keep him out of the remainder of the England tour. His return to cricket will be decided in due course, based on follow-up examinations in Australia."
Australia have announced that no replacement will be called up. Mitchell Johnson was recalled in place of Cummins for the second ODI at the Oval, one of two changes to Michael Clarke's side.
