Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic understands if he is left out of the club's last two games in order to give Thomas Sorensen game time ahead of Euro 2012.

Begovic is expected to start Tuesday night's rearranged fixture against Everton, but Sorensen could be restored for the closing two Premier League matches against QPR and Bolton.

The duo have shared the goalkeeping duties at the Britannia Stadium this season, with Begovic having started a few more games than Sorensen.

The 24-year-old is keen to play every match, but would accept manager Tony Pulis' decision to give Denmark international Sorensen a run-out.

Big tournament

"If that's the situation, it is what it is and I accept that," said Begovic.

"Obviously he's got a big tournament in the summer and all the best to him with that.

"We'll see what happens and go with the flow. Of course I'd love to play."

Meanwhile, Begovic insists there will be no easing up as Stoke near the end of their lengthy campaign ahead of the visit of Everton.

The Bosnian said: "We've got to pick up as many points as we can.

"The season's been great so far. Some of the performances, especially at home, have been fantastic. We want to finish well and take momentum into next season.

"You can't take your foot off the pedal. Every game has big meaning in the Premier League and tonight should be a cracker.

"Every time we play Everton it's a good game, a tough game, and hopefully we'll be ready."
