Rob Burrow: Has a chance of facing Catalan Dragons on Friday despite facial injury
Leeds Rhinos coach Brian McDermott believes Rob Burrow remains in with a chance of facing Catalan Dragons on Friday despite suffering a suspected fractured cheekbone.
The England international suffered the facial injury early on in last Friday's Challenge Cup success over Wakefield Wildcats at Headingley Carnegie.
Burrow underwent a scan on Monday but the high level of swelling meant the club were unable to obtain an accurate assessment, but McDermott is not treating that as a negative.
"Even if there is a crack in it and it's not displaced, he might be able to play Friday."

Leeds will continue to monitor the 29-year-old's progress in the coming days and McDermott is not ruling him out of contention to face Trent Robinson's high-flying French club.
"He's still in some pain," explained McDermott on Burrow.
"The swelling has gone down considerably, which suggests he's not broken it but they haven't been able to do an accurate scan with all the swelling.
"Even if there is a crack in it and it's not displaced, he might be able to play Friday.
"Rob is a tough old boot. He accepts that there are certain challenges in our game that he's got to put up with."
