James Coughlan: Suffered a bone fracture to his left hand in the defeat to Ulster
Munster are waiting on injury news regarding James Coughlan and Keith Earls following their shock Heineken Cup exit to Ulster on Sunday.
Munster suffered their only defeat in this season's Heineken Cup, going down 22-16 to their Irish rivals at Thomond Park.
Coughlan, who was one of the home side's more impressive performers, sustained a bone fracture to his left hand in the game.
The No.8, who has also played at both blindside and openside flanker, will see a specialist later this week to establish the full extent of the damage and is a doubt for Munster's home RaboDirect PRO12 game against Glasgow Warriors on Saturday.
Ireland centre Earls will also have further medical examination on Tuesday to determine the seriousness of his leg injury.
The 24-year-old took a knock in the second half and was able to finish the game after on-field treatment but was in some discomfort afterwards.
