Crawley manager Steve Evans has confirmed Rotherham have asked for permission to speak to him regarding their vacant managerial position.

Rotherham have been without a manager since the dismissal of Andy Scott last month.

Evans said: "Crawley Town have made me aware that Rotherham have made an approach.

"I want to get Easter out of the way first and my main focus at the moment is our match at Barnet on Monday."

A late penalty from striker Gary Alexander rescued a 1-1 draw against Crewe, who had gone ahead with a first-half strike by Byron Moore.
