England international looking forward to playing alongside Sehwag

Kevin Pietersen has announced he will play for Delhi Daredevils in this year's Indian Premier League. The England batsman has made the move from the Deccan Chargers, who acquired him in the 2011 player auction. However, the 31-year-old did not play at all in the last campaign as he was recovering from a double hernia. He had started his IPL career with the Royal Challengers Bangalore but will now play for a franchise that boasts the likes of India opener Virender Sehwag, South African paceman Morne Morkel and Australian batsman David Warner. Pietersen said on Twitter: "Breaking News: I've moved from Deccan Chargers to The Delhi Daredevils. V happy with the transfer!! Can't wait to watch Viru (Virender Sehwag) from 22yds!!" Eric Simons, India's bowling coach, will be in charge of Delhi, the South African having been appointed in place of Australian Greg Shipperd.
