Stoke defender Robert Huth blamed the elements for the bore draw they served up with Aston Villa at the Britannia Stadium.
A gusty wind swept through the ground and the German believes it hindered both teams, as they were unable to produce the type of football they would have liked.
The game ended goalless, and although it was a good point for the Potters, Huth felt the final scoreline may have been different with better conditions.

"I don't know if you picked it up from where you were," he told
The Sentinel. "But it was ridiculously windy out there and that put everybody on the back foot.
"You cannot judge the ball properly in the air when it's like that and you could see the Villa players were unsure.
"It makes your life a bit more difficult as a defender, but I thought we competed better second half, maybe because the wind was behind us.
"They had to defend another 25 yards deeper and we were almost up on the halfway line."
The Potters will now host Wigan on Saturday and they will be hoping to exact revenge for the defeat they suffered by the Latics on the final day of last term that cost them four league places.
Huth added: "We are now on 25 points. To get to 28 points by the New Year would be an amazing achievement for us."
