Former England one-day opener Mal Loye has been released by Northamptonshire.
Loye, 38, returned to his native county from Lancashire for a second spell ahead of the 2010 season.
The right-hander scored over 15,000 first-class run during a 20-year career and his 322 not out against Glamorgan in 1998 is the third highest score in Northants history.
He was best known as a destructive opener in one-day cricket and played seven ODIs on England's tour of Australia in 2007.

Northants head coach David Capel thanked Loye for his contribution over the years.
"I would like to pay tribute to Mal for his contribution and service to Northants cricket and to the English game," said Capel.
"He has always been a person that is admired and a favourite to watch bat.
"Most recently, he has helped many of our younger players by passing on valuable experience, which is much appreciated.
"We would like to wish Mal all the very best in his future endeavours both in and outside of cricket."
