Forward Jim Hamilton will remain at Gloucester until the summer of 2014 aafter signing a two-year extension to his contract.
The Scotland lock, who joined the Premiership outfit from Edinburgh last summer, follows England wing Charlie Sharples in committing his future to the West Country outfit.
Hamilton enjoyed a fine start to his career at Kingsholm, helping the Cherry and Whites to their LV= Cup triumph and a place in the last four of the Premiership.

"It's a privilege and an honour to sign a contract extension," said the 28-year-old, who is in Scotland's squad for their upcoming World Cup campaign.

"(Head coach) Bryan Redpath told me at the end of last season that he wanted me to be a big part of what happens at the club moving forward, and I was delighted. He sat me down and we had a chat and it's always been on the cards since then.
