Wigan second rower Harrison Hansen could miss Saturday's Challenge Cup final after being charged with a dangerous tackle.

The 25-year-old Kiwi has been charged by the RFL's match-review panel with a grade B offence on Bradford captain Andy Lynch during his side's 60-12 Super League win over the Bulls last Friday and faces a disciplinary committee hearing on Tuesday.

He is accused of "using part of his body forcefully to bend or apply unnecessary pressure to the head and/or neck and/or spinal column of a tackled player so as to keep him at a disadvantage in or after the tackle".

Hansen, who has missed only one of the champions' last 13 matches, would face a suspension of one or two matches if he is found guilty of the offence.

Warrington second-rower David Solomona will also appear in front of the committee for a similar offence during his side's 25-12 win over Catalan Dragons in Perpignan.

Hull KR stand-off Blake Green has been accused of a dangerous throw on St Helens winger Jamie Foster during Rovers' 24-22 win on Sunday, while Saints forward Jon Wilkin will also appear after being charged with tripping centre Kris Welham in the same match. Both are minor grade A offences.

The panel also issued formal cautions to Huddersfield captain Kevin Brown and Castleford duo Ryan McGoldrick and Willie Isa, which will remain on the players' record.
