Kiwi veteran to stay at Trent Bridge until 2013

Pace bowler Andre Adams has signed a new two-year contract with Nottinghamshire that extends his stay at Trent Bridge until the end of the 2013 season. The 35-year-old Kiwi was the leading wicket taker in the LV= County Championship last season, helping Nottinghamshire to secure the Division One title. "Andre has been excellent for us and we're very happy that he has decided to sign a new deal to lead our bowling attack," said director of cricket Mick Newell told the club website. "He's a winner and a very determined player and we were very keen to give him the opportunity to commit to us as soon as he felt ready to do so. "He enjoys county cricket and we're a better team for having him around."
