Tatupu: Excited by English Premiership
Exeter Chiefs newcomer Josh Tatupu is excited at the prospect of playing in the Aviva Premiership after joining the club in the summer.
The 25-year-old, who is equally adept on the wing and in the centre, is delighted to be at Sandy Park as last year's Aviva Premiership newcomers look forward to their second season in the top tier of English rugby.
"It's good to be finally here with the Chiefs," he told the club's official site.
"The club seems very professional and everybody is putting in a lot of hard work.
"I'm moving into my house this week, so I should really start to settle in soon. All the boys, though, have been very welcoming and I'm looking forward to it all."
Having started his career by playing rugby league for Melbourne Storm, Tatupu has since changed codes featuring for Super Rugby franchise Western Force, Otago and more recently, with Castres.
With a wealth of experience at his disposal it is the prospect of playing in England that appeals to him the most.
"It was something new and different for me to try out. I remember when I played for the Force against a few English sides a few years back, I really enjoyed the trip. I thought England was a nice place," he exclaimed.
"Also I was keen to become a Premiership player and try my hand at another style of the game."
