Haskell: Will rejoin Wasps in 2012/13
England flanker James Haskell has confirmed he is to rejoin Wasps, but only after spells in Japan and Super Rugby.
The 26-year-old had been a free agent since he was released by Stade Francais after two seasons in Paris.
However Haskell has now agreed a three-year deal to return Wasps for the start of the 2012-13 season.
First though, Haskell, who came through the academy at Adams Park and became a key figure in the first team before his move to France, will head to Japan.
Haskell has agreed to join former interim Wasps boss Leon Holden at the Ricoh Black Rams after the 2011 World Cup, before moving on to spend a season playing Super Rugby.
Haskell said: "I was very flattered and humbled by Wasps enthusiasm and commitment to re-sign me.
"As everyone knows my family and I were fans of Wasps long before I was privileged to be invited to join the Wasps academy.
"So returning to the club that has been pivotal in propelling me to where I am fortunate enough to stand today, was not one of the harder decisions I have ever had to make!"
