Gambhir sidelined by shoulder problem, Tendulkar rested for Tests

Suresh Raina will lead India during the limited-overs series in West Indies after Gautam Gambhir was ruled out due to a shoulder injury. Gambhir had been named as Mahendra Singh Dhoni's stand-in for the lone Twenty20 and five one-day internationals in the Caribbean. Those matches takes place from June 4-16 and are followed by three Tests, for which Dhoni - who is taking a break for the one-dayers - will be back in charge. India have named a 16-man Test squad but it does not include batsmen Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh. Tendulkar, who needs one more century for 100 in international cricket, is being given the entire tour off to recharge his batteries, while Yuvraj - man of the tournament in India's World Twenty20 triumph earlier this year - misses out with a lung infection. Test squad: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt, wkt), Vangipurappu Laxman, Murali Vijay, Abhinav Mukund, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, Subramaniam Badrinath, Harbhajan Singh, Ishant Sharma, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel, Suresh Raina, Parthiv Patel (wkt)
