Scans clear flanker to play
Munster flanker Denis Leamy has been cleared to play in the Magners League final despite injuring his neck against the Ospreys.
Leamy had only been on the field for 13 minutes as a replacement when he was forced off with the problem.
The 29-year-old Ireland international spent overnight in Regional Hospital awaiting scans, which have now subsequently shown Leamy has not suffered serious injury.
As a result, Leamy is now expected to be part of the Munster squad that will take on Leinster at Thomond Park on May 28.
