Former England winger Paul Sackey is on the look out for a new club following his release from Toulon.

The 31-year-old scored six tries in 20 appearances after moving to the Top 14 from Wasps in the summer.

However he has failed to extend his at the club after Toulon missed out on the end of season play-offs.

While Sackey has been shown the door, club president Mourad Boudjellal have handed coach Philippe Saint-Andre a lifeline.

Saint-Andre's position had come under increasing scrutiny after a disappointing season - however he has kept his position.

"Saint-Andre will stay in his role, but he will have different people at his disposition," said 50-year-old Boudjellal.

"It is my belief that we need to strengthen our coaching staff.

"Maybe there are certain people who should have new tasks, more suited to their limitations."

Former France scrum-half Pierre Mignoni has already been added to the club's back-room staff, with further appointments expected.
